Love Yourself

Love yourself they say, If you don't love yourself then no one will

But if no one loves you who is there to take the pain away for the rainy days

Love yourself they say, but how can you love yourself when the world turns its back on you

How can you love yourself when you feel so alone

Love yourself they say, but how can you love yourself  when you see people better than you

When no one is there to tell you you're beautiful

Love yourself they say, but how can  you love yourself when you begin to doubt yourself

Who is there to hug you and reassure you

Love yourself they say, but what is the point when I can end it all today

Pills, belts, even a knife at my disposal, it has to end right now

Tears

Doubt

Self Hatred

Does no one care for you?

Stop! Says the man on the tv

He says there's someone that cares above

Shivering you raise the volume and tune in

He speaks about love during hard times and faith in him

Maybe they're it's true what they say

In time you will love yourself because someone does love you
