Love is a Touch
I love you!
Heard around the world, those three words mean so much
It’s our fundamental need for this emotional crutch
That reflects the power of the human touch
Enveloped in the womb, it’s our first sensation
Before the sound of Mom’s heart vibrations
God’s special touch anoints us as His creation
Touch, we need it from friends, family and lovers
Something we have to give and receive from others
A bond that makes all humans brothers
So anytime, you touch someone in kind
As the power of your love begins to unwind
Remember these three words in your mind
I love you!
This poem is about:
