To love a good impression ...

Proverbs 19:8

The one who acquires wisdom loves himself;
the one who preserves understanding will prosper.

Just mind

Settle in your hearts … not meditate beforehand

that seems so difficult … we love a good impression

We want some security … to fill hidden desires

which will present ourselves acceptable in our adoration

To the cause we represent … or at least what we believe in

our pride seems overruling … on the altar of proportion

What others think of us … is an important matter

that we seemingly shrug off … in our controlled emotion

Thought and mind in disarray … driving our chosen blindness

No hunger left to die to self … enslaved to flesh in devotion
