LOVE AND WAR

Wed, 01/28/2015 - 22:18 -- kolynce

None of us wants to admit it
None of us is ready to lose the war
So that we both win it
None of us is sorry
But we are both bleeding
We are almost dying
And yet we hold each other’s lives
We both love each other
But no one is admitting it first
We are saying hurtful things to each other
So that one of us dies first
I don't know what to do
I can retreat from this war
I can't stand here and watch us die
Its time we both admit
We have drank each other's poison
We are tied up in our bonds
You have my antidote
And I have yours
You have my love
And I have yours
So quit the arguments
Because the truth is
We love each other
