Where do they originate the so-called inner feelings?

Were they formed when I grew up or were they already there?

Where is the “me” I want to know … the one “who” I really am?

Is it the “who” I perceived to be … the real one or just hot air?

The true me, the special one … must really have great value.

The “me” I search to find … must be standing at the door

to a room that separates … the real from imagination.

The room right in front of me… is what I’ve been looking for?

The key to open the solid door is buried deep inside of me

in a box called candlelight … filled with love for others.

I’m so afraid to look inside for what is there will smother

my selfishness and envy … and that what’s called my pride.

The key, the heart of neighbors … who you will touch with love.

That is generated outside yourself … a gift from God above.

And when that door is opened and you search deep inside

you’ll find your lively inner-Spirit  … The One pure and white.
