Simplicity brings about the sweetest of feelings: love.

It can be watching cats play or seeing couples hand-in-hand,

the small occurances of everyday life.

By feeling the joy of another person's genuine laughter 

or the purity of their smile-

tenderness blooms within the heart and takes hold of it firmly. 

When a person chooses the path of vulnerabilty,

other people's warmth protects them from negativity. 

That's how I lift myself up on darker days,

whether it be telling a stranger that they look beautiful 

or sharing a bag of chips with my friends. 

The energy and love from those around me is enough to get me through my day.
