Lounge

heart framed lights

will glow a gorgeous tangerine.

warm skin will meet

the fluff of your stuffed companion.

rosy noses will connect

to lavender-scented limbs;

the crook of your shoulder

will straighten

as you rest your cheek

against t-shirt clad spines.

salt-water chases itself,

racing down the curves of your bones.

organs will pace themselves

to sync with each other;

lips pout

desiring to kiss themselves.

lilac cloud float through

the navy skies

sprinkled with white and gold,

coral and periwinkle heavens

sink with its huge golden lover.

littered rose petals

create your trials

when it traces

your delicate steps

on your way to meet

your last significant other

and rest

finally/
