Loss

Location

Two lovers find one another

They believe they cannot live without each other

Suddenly, along comes a decision

No subtraction or division

Just addition of two souls

Months later one feels a hole

Something has been lost in time

Her partner would call it a crime

A crime in which one is still loving

While the other is leaving

But what can one do

As he watches his love leave and knows they are through

Years go by and the ache eventually begins to fade

Unfortunately the memories remain

All of the memories they made

Still make him ache in pain

A day brightens and glows

When a new love shows

Happier the new love is than the old

They will never leave each other cold

His old love realizes she wants him back

But time has moved on without her keeping track

She has realized her love is now

Her loss
