The Looming Darkness

Location

      Through the looming darkness die.

Living, Breating, and Heartless sigh.

A life without a soul to soar

And a Spirit lost amongst life's roar;

    Wandering through an unknown vast

Without a person's whose reel they could cast.

Tumbling down the rabbit's hole,

Knowing soon comes the payment toll

With no time to spend or money to pay

A being stands at the edge of the fray.

A light is seen very far off,

Across the Darkess' vast unsailble trough.

A dark, brooding ferry could come

But only if Life's Heart is taken and given to some,

Yet the Price seems so high

That many just move right on by.

The fears of that large Cost

Cause so many to stay forever lost,

And then never will any of them see

Or stand in the Courts of the Great He

Because in the glooming Darkness dies

And the living, breathing Heartless sighs.
