Looking Through the Eyes of Jesus

One chance to change the world, who would i go to for advice?

I would go to my father and savior Jesus, who paid the price.

I will not look through my eyes and see the wrongs of the world,

but instead will take on the eyes of Jesus, the savior of the world.

Many ideas and beliefs exist in this giant rock we call Earth,

But these concepts and satisfactions have no worth.

I understand that I have the opportunity to write about changing one thing, and one thing only,

So I will write about how the world twisted the Gospel, and how we see this deception as lovely.

Let’s start with the idea of sex and how it’s labeled as an activity between two people with no attachments,

When God designed it to be between a husband and a wife, but now producers make sex into a movie and declare, “let’s make it happen!

Something so sacred is now being abused using innocent children as their biggest victims,

While these children have no idea that they are being brainwashed into everyday addictions.

The next thing I would change is the saying, “God is love” and how we the people mistakenly interpret this.

Using this true phrase as an excuse to blame God not realizing His reasoning and His purposes.

God. Is. Love. But that does not mean He is not just.

He laughs with us, cries with us, but he also disciplines us for our greed, our sins, our cheating, and our lust.

God created the world to praise and worship him with freedom and joy

But the people didn’t see their God as worth praising, so He sent His one and only boy, Jesus.

To take the blame of the world and to be the perfect sacrifice,

Knowing that this sacrifice won’t change the ways of the world or the ways of the people’s lives.

So if I had the opportunity to change one thing, I would change the way we see Jesus.

Because in knowing Jesus is the beginning of wisdom, which leads to us proclaiming, “You are enough.”

P.S. sounds better live.
