Looking in the mirror

Psalm 39:6 New English Translation (NET Bible)

Surely, people go through life as mere ghosts.
Surely they accumulate worthless wealth
without knowing who will eventually haul it away.”

Time is up, or is it now. Who are you to say just this?

Are you a prophet, or are you the one to proclaim it?

Who are you deep down? Who do you think you are?

Are you not closer to a clown in your 2nd hand car?

Where do you get your wisdom? From the radio or TV

Why do you go on and on? Who do you pretend to be?

Are you in the game at all or asleep on the sideline?

In love with your name and discarding mine in mime

A child of admiration while searching for some fans

Making noise and call it music for others now to dance

Sliding down the road of life is an uphill battle.

Call every pot now black as you rattle your kettle.

Our Lord has so much patience even with one like me

Molding one and making me towards who I ought to be
