We created our country based off of nothing

We invented the internet

We walked on the moon

You can change the world in a blink of an eye

Cause I know deep inside

Our generation has achieved the unthinkable

You are the part of changing history

You are a part of this generation

A rock hard mind and a feather soft heart

Inner beauty and inner passion

Look at what you’ve become

Look in the mirror and take a look at you

Do you see what we turned ourselves to?

To have created a voice for ourselves when wrong has decided to speak

To stand up and fix the damage that has been done

To become whatever we decide become

This generation has a law where we can love whoever we love

We can change

We can change the world

I say, "this generation is better than ever”

People say, “this generation is on the brink of failure.”

Well now that you think about it maybe you are right

When we created greatness we also created hate

In a world where hateful actions seize to exist

In a world where gender unequality consist

In a world where we separate ourselves by the color of our skin because it's such a disgrace

In a world where we choose to judge by the appearance of our face
