Look Up Towards the Sky

Look up towards the sky

You who are weary,

Look up towards the sky

You who whisper softly

About your woes, about your shame,

Look up towards the sky

When you feel weakened,

Look up toward the sky

When you feel lost

In the valley, in the storm;

Look up towards the sky

If you are worried,

Look up towards the sky

If you are tempted

By this world, by the one

With lies and schemes,

Who thinks he knows everything,

Look up towards the sky.

Do not tarry, keep walking calmly

In your lows and for the tomorrow,

Just keep keeping on that narrow way

And do not forget what it all cost

In that valley for your Saviour,

Who is telling us:

“Look up towards the Sky

My once lost lamb,

Look up towards the Sky

My child, so very strong

Do you not know?

‘It is finished!’,

The tomb is emptied.

There is no need to worry anymore

About the past or the rising day--

I have wiped every teardrop away.

Look up towards the Sky

You who sings,

Look up towards Heaven

And marvel everything

I have created for you and more;

Keep on singing a new song joy,

For I Am all you will ever need to enjoy.
