Longing for YOU

Once upon a midnight migraine,
I wait for the pain to subside.
Only to wait for the sign:
I guess Relief I'll find
When my lovers eyes
Fly within the medium
between my heart and my mind.
Despite the Greed
Above people always making a scene:
My pain I believe won't subside
Until the day I learn to accept
People from the very intelligent
To the severely inept.
In all attitudes we heed acceptance.
A virtue often overlooked as patience
And replaced with complacence.
Don't live to love,
Love to live.
Don't rot
Suck on your thumbs, you will not.
Don't wait for the pain to subside
Find the guy, make him side
Don't just rhyme a life you want
Make amends with your thoughts.
Once upon a midnight migraine,
I thought of you and my pain died.
