Long Distance Love

Four Years

Endless, Tragic, and confusing

Family non-supporting

Four Years

Those four years, I fought

pushed the comments aside, and learn to grow my own wings

Lost my mother to the hate, feel into depression.

Four Years

We became something, like an enchanted fairy tale,

we made them scared

I was your Juliet and you my Romeo,

Four Years

So many spiriling downfalls and endless depression pits,

scars and cuts marked emotionally and physically throught my body,

but they never knew and it lasted

Four Years

Here we are today, I am seeing you in less than a month,

damn how time flew,

but those faintly washed memories and hidden scars are unfolding,

Four Years

They say it is impossible to love someone you've never met

We proved them wrong, and almost died doing so

and now you stand in front of me

Four Years

I ran to you, arms spread open and ready to fly

The moment was so long, so slow and full of everything I've never had

YOUR love, and it took

Four Years.
