The Lonely One

Everyone was missing

Asleep or just gone

Except for her

She was sitting there

All alone

She couldn't find anyone

They would come

But disappear quickly

And she was ever so lonely

All alone

She couldn't sleep

Even though she was tired

She was cold

And a little hungry

Not just for food

But for friendship

So she wouldn't have to be

All alone

Maybe they'll come

Maybe.. but until they do

She'll be

All alone
