Lobito

You lived your entire life with me,

I only wish you could've been here to see,

how far I've come to be.

Life hasn't been easy without you,

but I guess there was nothing I could do.

Thanksgiving just passed,

and around this time,

so did you.

We were a team and everyone knew it,

You would growl and cover me

every time someone would pretend to hit.

People would say you were just a dog,

merely a pet,

why are you crying so.

I looked up as if they owed me a debt,

and just said,"No,

he was loyal and a beautiful protector,

and everyone else was simply a specter.
