Live Lavishly

I wake up swearing I have to do better soon.

My waistline suffers abuse,

but I always plan to do better,

tommorow .

I choose to waste days away in front of a favorite channel.

In a warm house with a newer spouse.

One direction

route to all get out,

is outside.

Hiding right on the other side of this window,

but it's too cold.

I'm getting too old.

Where did the time go?

Oh so you miss it?

Want it back?

Then simply go get it.

There are no misprintings or misrepresentations

when you live your own reputation.

Out there right in front of their faces.

There's no need for patience,

when you're out there hitting the pavement,

better yet the grass.

Yes, let your flesh,

touch her flesh.

Skin to skin,

and see if you don't sink in and begin to

believe in sin.

Eat from the tree of knowledge.

Why not finish what Eve started?

Feeding on garbarge for about as long as

She has been, the healthier option.

You were born in her, no adoptions.

She could come and go so quickly.

The whole time whispering sweetly,

winds whistling, "Pick me."

Meanwhile channels keep flipping,

the hum of the 21st Century is drowning her out.

Come out.

Just come out.
