Little Girl Lost

What happened to that little girl, now lost?
The innocence and merriment drifted away.
Her entire world and life turned into a coin toss.

Life changed and emotions turned cold as frost.
Every day she wonders if she should stay.
What happened to that little girl, now lost?

Anger, aggression, sadness, and loss;
As she’s curled up wasting all of her days.
Her entire world and life turned into a coin toss.

She sometimes just wants to show the world who’s boss,
But when one setback occurs the boldness strays.
What happened to that little girl, now lost?

She used to be confident and try at any cost.
Happiness was her life and everything was okay.
Her entire world and life turned into a coin toss.

Why is life so difficult with everything she’s been taught?
Everything turned black and white though she wants a little gray.
What happened to that little girl, now lost?
Her entire world and life turned into a coin toss.
