I want you to bloom and blossom so beautiful
that the bees can’t help but to stop and
buzz about your beauty.

I hope that your stem will sprout strong and powerful from the soil
so even the creatures in the sky are struck
by your confidence.

On days when it rains and your petals feel drained
from the incessant drops that plop on you,
I want you to remember the rainbows that form after those plops...

And when your roots are dry and you don’t know why
no one comes around to water,
think of the blue sky and how joyful it is
to have those rays of sunshine beaming on top of you.

Because I see those rays too,
and although our distance is far,
we still share the same sky
so you should never feel alone.

Because the beauty of nature will always surround you,
regardless of the season.

So no matter the time or place
if your feeling down or disgraced
whether slouched on a mountain top,
or stuck in a garden plot,

know the strength you embody,
for you have so much beauty in you too bloom,
little brother.
