The Little Black Box

Thu, 05/08/2014 - 14:59 -- eklapps

It may seem like an empty box

Where thoughts float away just as easy as they come

To me

It's a place filled with interesting characters, places and dream

I can be in a small town in New Hampshire called Grovers Corners

And suddenly be whisked away by imagination

To whatever I want to be

The words of Shakespeare and Checkov

Reverberate off the walls and bring us back in time

To communism and ancient fmaily feuds

It's not all about bringing the words from a page to life

Its about creating new life

Birthing new personalities and setting your mind

Free

School is a prison for your thoughts and dreams.

In this little black box I can do anything I want to do

And

Be who I want to be

But

After all, to most people

It's just an empty box
