A grounded bean is all it takes

Brewed and creamed

Dined with a cake

 

In the morning or afternoon

Black or sweetened

I have to choose

Oh! what cup

Shall I use?

One old and special?

Or something new?

 

Hot or cold?

It's all the same

With whipped topping

And crushed candy canes

 

Add some cinnamon

And nutmeg too

It will taste festive

When it is brewed

 

A simple drink

But made complex

It truly makes me feel the best
