Listening and ...

Listening

Rev. 22:17 “and the Spirit and the Bride say, “come!

and let him, who hears come!” “Let him who desires

take of the water of Life without price and let him, who

thirsts come”

Who listens to the voice that does not originate in self?

Who separates the sound between Satan and our Maker?

Who filters out the guile and let the truth surface?

Who knows the difference between you and who fakes it?

I know it starts with hearing when He simply says, “Come!”

No other stuff attached to it for that would be wrong

Thirsting for truth and righteousness a gift from God above

as He offers to fill our cup and we drink it to belong

He stills our hunger for righteousness without removing our appetite

He’ll make sure we don’t overeat and in that we appreciate His Reason

For we cannot move if stuffed and fat … formed by self into hypocritical

For time then would get away from us ... and move us out of season.
