Listen Up Society

Never had a mind of my own nor a thought on my own.A dream of my own nor a life of my own.Society, like a puppet, on a string. You controlled me. Not anymore. I am not a child anymore nor am I a follower. But I am mad.Look around. Brothers are dying for being brothers.Slavery isn’t gone it’s undercover.Citizens are being massacred for standing up for what they believe in. A burnt down building gets more attention than Flint still being without clean water.Rapist are living their lives as if they didn't shatter someone's life. What's popular is more important than what's right. Society destroys little boys and girls confidence before they even realize it.Depression has become normalizes and a niche.Ignorance is not bliss, it’s a curse.
