Listen

Location

Listen.

There is a silence in the air.

Do you hear it?

I can feel it.

You can't tell me you can't see it.

Listen.

There are children crying out for help.

Do you hear them?

I can feel them.

You can't tell me you can't see them.

Listen.

The ridiculed are screaming out towards you to see what is going on.

The tormented are walking your halls everyday.

The bruised write on your desks.

The damaged sit in your seats.

Listen.

If you listen closely you can hear their soul crying.

If you listen closesly you can hear them speak.

If you listen closely you'll understand.

If you just

Listen.

Those kids are getting hurt and pushed down.

Told they are not good enough by those you dare to call their peers.

Getting bitched at for being different and you just can't

Listen.

Don't even tell me you do.

Don't tell me you do and you can't see the broken.

Don't tell me you hear it because you're not listening.

Listen.

I'm not trying to complain.

I'm not trying to whine.

I'm not trying to cry.

I'm just asking you to just

Listen.
