1 Peter 5:8

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around

like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

A lioness gazing at a herd of gazelle her eyes constantly searching

She finds the one she wants and is determined without doubt

She moves at tremendous speed to the selected one that lurches

To bring it down quickly so her family won’t do without

She passes many others she easily could bring down

But the one she has chosen … is the one she needs

She does not even bother the young ones all around

All she has in focus is the one … delivered in God’s speed

Revelation 5:5

But one of the twenty-four elders said to me, “Stop weeping!

Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the heir to David’s throne,

has won the victory. He is worthy to open the scroll and its seven seals.”

There is another Lion … The One Who came from Judah

He also picks the weak ones … for the purpose of His Glory

Does He pass many others … to prepare His Chosen Saga?

For His service and call today … to deliver His Glorious Story

Many hanging around the market place but few are chosen

The herd of humanity seems too large to be numbered

But the Lion observes and knows the hearts of the frozen

In expectation of the capture, the ones who wait in slumber

He will choose the weak and fills them with His Strength

He will bring to understanding the ones He has prepared

The ones who are seeking He will guide towards the end

To perform His Will in standing so that The Truth will fare
