Lightning Struck
Location
You're the light above my head,
You're the ground beneath my feet,
You're the hope inside my dreams,
You're the one that I wanted to find.
Without whom I am lost;
Without you I am blind.
I can no longer live,
Without your air to breathe.
I cannot be alone,
With you I believe.
I believe in you,
And all that you are.
Everything that is true
In a light shining through
To my heart and soul
From your loving glow.
My angel, who
So new flew
to me. My ancient spirit,
Calls to you.
My ephemeral body aches,
Yours so close and grown;
The light that's so often shown.
If I do die; let me have such pertinence.
My pretense that fools the ignorance,
Shall soon stumble and succumb
To the idle one resting, numb.
My glowing gaiety to give such gay gait.
No more time to take the trifling train,
Borne in my everlasting mortal pain,
Effacing love and sprouting hate.
All animosities do envy,
Lovers' strengths and victories.
Like such a lighting does
In tempests raging, wild,
Swirling the eager sky, you hath stricken
The earth, and reconciled
The human life elements that lie herein,
With a booming echo heard by masses,
As the shimmering light soon faintly passes.
Through all nights and storms ere,
Light the world with the beauty of
Everything you do in life, forever.
