Proverbs 20:27           New English Translation

27 The human spirit is like the lamp of the Lord,

searching all his innermost parts.

Light

How does this lamp now burn and who supplies the power?

Who turns the switch when darkness is all around?

Is the Holy Spirit the wiring and the switch a built-in sensor

The presence of the Lord Jesus is where all the light is found

So if I lose connection with the Holy Spirit

 All will plunge into darkness and helpless I will be

Who will then repair the short in the circuit?

The lamp can’t do it, this we know, how will darkness flee?
