Life's like a Traffic Jam
Only moving forward inch by inch,
You think that life is such a cinch,
But on the freeway there's no leeway,
On the other paths cars whiz by as if to taunt me,
Am I on the right path or will it haunt me,
That my direction has led to a horrible resurrection,
But wait there's an exit,
Should I take it?
The doubts run through my mind,
Will I make it?
Can I risk it?
Sanity is what makes humanity,
But without out it what are thee?
Couldn't there have been a warning sign,
From some kind folk or the divine?
Danger to save me from this pain,
Oh how I wish I could change lanes,
Will my will be enough to carry me through,
Or will it make me drown with no sight of you,
Diversity becomes unity,
Or is it duplexity,
Does trouble unite,
Or make victims fight,
What can we accomplish when we are alone,
To handle the growing burden,
Are we prone?
Life is fast,
Time is precious,
We only realize in our last glimpses,
Of this earth we hold so important,
Then all of a sudden all cars surge forward,
Forward to their,
Destiny,
Their thoughts out of,
Consistency,
Into those little things,
That moment of awareness has fallen behind,
Behind on the freeway of your mind.
