Life's Light

Mon, 10/10/2016 - 10:25 -- SDivi14

I see it:

That lost ring amongst the rubble;

The beauty of what is and what was.

Ruins remind us that there was life before disaster,

And that Hope can be built up once again.

Miracles happen when something is made of nothing,

And Man is known to do just that.

Where there was no light,

He fabricated it.

The Sun is most precious in the morning,

After Night's reign has passed.

I make the effort every morning to see it once again,

Because I can only see it if I open my eyes.
