Life's First Breath

Fri, 08/07/2015 - 14:00 -- biankap

Those first days are always the most frightening,

Those moments when you’re scared but excited,

Adrenaline running,

 Heart racing,

Palm sweating,

Balling your eyes out,

Screaming at the top of your lungs,

You’re nervous.

This is something new for you,

You’ve been accustom to the same thing for your whole life or what you thought was your life,

Compressed in a bubble and ignorant about the real world,

Never have you ever been so upset,

You’ve lost your comfort and protection,

you are bathing in so much light you feel like a vampire burning in the sun wondering if this is the end of your journey to nowhere.

Suddenly you’re wrapped in a soft material,

Something new to you,

Soft to the touch,

You don’t know it yet but you are God’s beautiful creation and will soon find new comfort and protection,

You are a beacon in someone’s life,

And hope for the new world.

You don’t know it yet,

But you’ll be awesome.
