Life Is What You Make It

I’ve had my ups and I’ve had my

Downs

I’ve had my bumps and I’ve had my

Frowns

As a child I was innocent, creative and

Playful

I had lots of friends, toys and just

Able

Able to laugh and able to

Cry

Able to not see the world as it was with my

eyes

I had imagination, a heart, and was

Naive

But when you grow up it’s hard to

Believe

Hard to believe there was no Santa

Claus

Hard to take in the world and it’s

Flaws

To know why my dad left and know what he

Did

All the things I didn’t know as a

Kid

To know that life isn’t

Fair

Isn't full of hope, but mostly

Despair

However life is what you

Percieve

All you got to do is

Believe.
