Life today is not what it use to be

There`s to much violence faster then a person trying out for track team

not enough love.

Everyday you turn on the news

someones been shot, robbed, or stabbed

martin lawrence once quoted saying

Why can`t we all just get along,

People having babies multiplying like bebe kids

father`s don`t want to claim

it`s a like a virus going around it`s driving me insane.

The world`s turning upside down

downside up-its spins like a revolver, seemd to never end

the rich get richer

the poor get poorer

I understand the world today,

nobody cares, but it's what you do to not be a statistic

what if we turn the clock back,

to a time when we were on the right track. 

people say they are not slaves, but continue to be enslave by ignorance that's toxic

What`s wrong with my people we`re supposed to be strong.

I know life`s hard back then too

i'm getting through.

we can work this out if we put our brains together

without unity we`ll be destroyd forever

but then again

if nobody cares

only person i'm loyal to is myself

keeps me safe from all danger
