Poetry is not something to write an make up rhymes,
Then make up sentences using words up from your mind.
Poetry is a way of putting your thoughts an feelings together,
In a way that you can connect with one another.
Poetry is just another form of way to tell your story.
You don’t always have to rhyme; long as what you say is right,
An it’s coming from the might of you soul so don’t be fright.
Poetry is a way for us humanity to speak up for the one’s who don’t have a voice,
This is our freedom of speech an to be heard.
Being a poet is not just about getting the attraction with our fancy words,
Its about being able to relate with how we as people feel an see the world.
I do not call myself a poet just because I want to,
I do not write poems because I have to.
I am a poet because I’ve been through pain, happiness, And hate,
I write so that I can be able to my sorrows in a way that I know I could be heard.
