A Life in Books

Tue, 05/20/2014 - 17:22 -- Merina

Location

Between the covers of a book

I dare to take a look

Magic, mystery, carnage, mis'ry

A friend who loves and comforts

Always there, always open

Happy, carefree, loving, lonesome

Help me, hold me, hurt me, heal me

A life lived in fantasy

Love, and death, and hopelessness

Lonely in reality

Peaceful in the pages

I wish I could trade worlds

Monsters, witches, trolls and lovers

Hopeless and lonely retreat

My books, my saviors, my haven.
