This is life.

This is life.
Colorful sunsets that brighten a terrible day.
Drinking a hot coffee cuddled up in your favorite old sweatshirt.
Laughing until your whole body aches with the spirit of it.
The feeling a cool shower on your sun kissed skin.
Sitting on a tailgate surrounded by glowing familiar faces.
Bubble baths with candles and slow music.
Christmas lights and bitter, cold, fresh snow floating all around.
The glittering stars as you lay on your roof that make you feel just a bit small in the world.
Sliding into a bed with clean sheets in nothing but an oversized tshirt.
Steaming Chinese takeout and a sad movie.
Exploding fireworks that make the whole sky ignite and make the little kids shriek in wonder.
A soldier coming home.
A beautiful little girl being born.
A first kiss.
A last kiss.
When she calls you an idiot and you know it means she loves you.
A boat on the lake on a 90 degree day.
Shouting every word to a song as you cruise back roads in your not so cool car.
Relaxing Sunday afternoons spent with a glass of wine and a good book.
A stadium lit up with lighters while everyone sings in unison.
A hot sun blazing down on your young, beautiful skin.
The love of your life wrapping his arms around you from behind, making you feel as though in that single moment he can save you from everything and anything.
This is life.
 Love it.
And live it.
