Life is filled with it's ups and downs
Days of success and days of sorrow
People coming in and out
Not really understanding what is desired for all of us
Maybe it's meant to be that way and maybe it's not

Life is filled with it's ups and downs
It's turn arounds and it's failures
Improvement is the key to success
But I'm guessing that most people already knew that
Life will never be the same for everybody including me

Life explains why I still write rhymes to this day
Life explains why I keep my support group so close to me
It's why I choose to keep doing some of things I'm doing
Something that not a lot of people get to see for a long time

I'm always telling myself that I will never be the same little girl that I used to be
Guessing that's all apart of growing up
Because I can't be the same forever if I truly want to find myself
It will never matter to you what you were before until you prove that you are finding yourself
Life will never be the same for everybody including me

Sticking true to what I know is right
Because not everyone has the same luck or is living the same life
Cherish the time I have with my loved ones
Because Lord knows I've loss to many of them
