So meaningless and rich,
It withers like a dying flower And yields its beauty with, Yet richer than the richest golds
And finer than the finest jewels,
Is a life spent well compared to the life of a wretched fool. Live for what is stolen and rots
Or die for what lasts for ever,
Live in ecstasy for one lifetime
Or live forever.
Suffer and renamed the Sufferer All for the glory of all time,
Gloat and renamed Prosperity For the glory of one time. Submit to temptation
Resist with all your might,
The effect,
Burning fires of regret
Versus salvation's light.
Life, So meaningless and rich,
If I had to choose, which?
