Lies

Lies, all the lies you speak

Empty broken promises

Yet your spirit is so care-free

Why?

Why does your acid only eat at me?

Fragments of trust

Broken, lay at my feet

Your lies have cut me

My scars are proof

Buried deep within my wrist

No amount of love could save us now

Youv'e taken a match to our bridge

I'm drowning in your sea of lies

You stand, watching me struggle

You throw me life lines of broken promises

I go under

And all you do is turn...and walk away

My family
