What could I be missing
In my mind of minds
Which is nothing but an extension of my bias over time
I protect that appendage until I have the decency to die
If the mind is a lie you can believe in
Then what does it mean to be a lie

Until the skeptical mind reduces itself to nothingness
And you become the god that men create
Supporting your composure on a suspecion
As you are phony by definition
Pushing in your revolting guts as they try to break out,
revealing the real you
Something that is more of a disappointment than the masque

So you build upon your masque
Untill you have crushed down your soul into a concentrated powder of the objective morals to live by
And I will tell you how deep you are for acknowledging the powder
Lost within your vast wealth of knowledge
Knowledge you want
But you will never need
And so knowledge you will never use
Yet you keep it because you consume
That one lonely lie from which your mature life is based
Consumtion
As a shield
That you let dangle

And when someone finally does learn to use it
They learn that their shield is a weapon
And so what use do they have for their soul anymore
What use do they have for that mind
What use do they have for their purpose
Their powder
Their master
Their God
Their soul
Lies you must believe in
Our psyche is the hole in our heart

Why choose death when survival is so appealing?
Who are you to say I would be happier without feeling?
Virtue is a lie you can belive in
And happiness is a cloud we hold
tight
Until your faith fails
And the cloud falls
And we become zombies amoung the dolls
