Letter to my Former Bullies

I used to resent you.

There used to be a time when I would wake up dreading the day.

I dreaded having to hear your voice, or see your face.

And you knew that.

EVERYONE knew that.

However, now, I am learning to thank you guys.

That sounds absurd.

Trust me, I know.

But you guys are what made me, me.

Your words beat me down time, and time again.

Your words shaped me.

They molded me.

They melded with my frail skin, and made me an Amazonian Warrior.

You words and actions compelled me.

They taught me.

They drove me to only act in kindness.

Because no one should have to bare the burden of hateful peers.

And, I also have to thank you for giving me the oppurtunity to help others.

Including you guys.

So let me give you a word or two of advice.

The universe in mysterious in various ways.

Karma being one of them.

When you make a choice,

Whether it be good or evil,

That energy is sent into the universe.

And that energy will soon be returned to you.

So make your choices wisely.

Becauses love and hate are beasts.

They are gigantic venus fly traps, and the one that you feed is the one that will follow you forever.

So I am begging you.

Do not feed the beast of hate anymore.

For you reap what you sow,

And your life will never, ever be as fulfilling as it could be.

Because, if hate is what is inside you, it defines you and those around you.

And, as much as I dislike you guys, I could never wish what you put me through upon you.

So please, please stop with the unwarranted hate.

Stop bringing others down.

And learn to let kindness drive you.
