A Letter From Me to You

Do you remember that fateful day? I do.

We were walking around, having fun, smiling. Your smile lit up my life on the darkest days. It comforted me during the most violent storm. I miss that smile. I never get to see it anymore. Where did it go? That smile which called me to you and wouldn’t let me forget. You may think I've forgotten you, but no one can forget that smile. No one could forget that voice which wrapped around me like a blanket in winter. No one could forget that smell which reminded me of a chilly fall day. No one could forget that touch which made me feel like the most special person in existence. I'll never forget. I see you everyday, every hour, every minute, yet I never see the true you. It was that fateful day… it came and ruined everything. I can say sorry so many times, but you won't hear me. As I watch you from heaven, all I see is your pain. I miss you, and I know you miss me.

I'm sorry…
