A Letter From Luna

My beloved Solis,

We’ve been together for so long,

But our relationship doesn’t always belong.

We are day and night ,

When I’m up, your out of sight,

But everyday you die

So every night I may become alive

You lie so I may fly,

Your light is the only way I survive.

It’s like I’m your mirror because I reflect,

The way you shine allows me to be perfect.

And as I begin to tire, you start to wake.

As you begin to dawn, I sleep for your own sake.

But before my eyes lose all sight,

I love seeing the glimpse of your returning light.

So, even though, my dear Solis, we are so far apart,

My love for you remains forever in my heart.

And all though we may differ,

Our relationship is stiffer,

Than night and day,

Because it will never go away.

Until you set and I see you,

Solis, my love is ever true.

Love,

Luna.
