The Letter I Wrote

Location

It's morning as I wake

I decide to write what's on my mind

Sipping my tea

Trying to find

What I had yesterday and what I seek today

Memories of events of emotions

Just scritpting it as if it were a movie

Rewinding all my past notions

Computer in my lap

Being the highbrow that I am

Flunctually like drum sticks with no rhythm

I hear this beat as I write this letter

Not knowing the location of this noise

I continue to write as I hear it louder and louder

Then the noise settles down

It finally makes sense

This letter to you

Is not from me but within me

All along I was writing from my heart
