let's go home

i'll not fucking shed a one,

lock them away,

pretend it's all good,

pretend i'm not leaving a new home to return to the old.

i can't wait to see my family,

sleep in my own bed,

talk to my friends,

and simply be in my homecountry again.

So let's enjoy it while it lasts,

this bittersweet parting,

count my blessings,

all my new friends,

new experiences,

new adventures,

fly home,

a new

is about to begin.
