It sends shivers down my spine

The crime

The hatred

The war

that never seems to end between

Israel and Palestine

 

 

Look to your left

and

Look to your right

We are all different

but

we all would be the same

if someone just turned off the light

 

 

One day

peace will reign

and

hatred will meet its

demise

neighbors will love one another

and there will be

joy

and

compromise

 

 

I wait for the day

where there will be

no bloodshed

over territories or beliefs

 

I wait for the day

where there will be

respect

and

peace
