Let Me Know When You're Done Sleeping

Let me know when you're done sleeping

Because it's the middle of the night

And there's a lot of secrets I've been keeping

I keep treating this feeling like I'm agreeing

With the way I end up spending my days and nights

-pleaing

But there's been one thing my feelings have been stealing

And that's my ability to keep going,

Keeping it real

Because there's a lot of things that are unreal to me

That need to be revealed

That's why I'm asking you

To let me know when you're done sleeping

Because maybe you're the kind of person

That will listen to not only me

In the middle of the night, but

How my clock ticks and

How sometimes it catches

On nothing but it's own ticking

And then maybe we'll realize

Why that's why they call crazy people

Lunatics

Because in the nighttime,

They stutter

Stop working.
