Leave Me Be

Location

You go to turn down a road

But a voice tells you differently

You look and you wonder

Not sure of whom it could be

Ignoring the voice, you take a step

And tell the voice, “Leave me be”

You go to walk and a hand pulls you back

You turn to see of whom it could be

But yet again, there is no one seen

A voice calls out for you to turn around

Ignoring the voice, you bring yourself off the ground

And tell the voice, “Leave me be”

Halfway down the unknown path

I look back but then forward

The voice isn’t heard

This is Me
