I am excising your soul from my body

I hide the good scraps of us under your bones,

So the gods will not deprive me of my memory.

You bitterness I will discard,

Your saccharine I will preserve.

And with nails clawing my chrystallis splits--

Light healing the wounds you left.

So though I may leave, I do not forget,

And I in clouds am free again.
