Layers

You didn't know the deal you made

A sip to wash down the pain

It took your eyes and sold your soul

The devil awaits to take hold

Empty drip to fil your veins

Brother hold on before it's too late

Your mind at war with it all

The voices push one last call

A cherry tops off liquid defeat

One more drink to be complete

Wondering when it all will stop

The pain will soon take it all

The skin you wear is growing layers

One by one your heart sinks deeper

The lies that lay wit you at night

Pretend your dreams keep up to speed

A lie we both know is incomplete
